El Dorado Ranch provides an affordable and ecologically sound real estate option not found elsewhere. By providing “off grid” solar communities, implementing environmentally friendly building techniques such as Straw Bale construction, and preserving 50 percent of the development as “green space” the Ranch sets a high bar for environmentally sensitive development.
No where else on earth will you find the unique landscape that our development offers. Miles of pristine, white sand and crowd free beaches outline the one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems, the Sea of Cortez.
As land emerges from the Sea of Cortez, it gently slopes upwards through spectacular tracts of open desert which soon give way to the 10,000-foot San Pedro Martir Mountain Range providing a majestic panoramic backdrop and surreal sunsets.
Because of the natural landscape, almost all of our lots enjoy both sea and mountain views. All properties are within a short drive to the beach. Beachfront condos are also available so you don’t have to drive at all to access the Sea of Cortez.

The warm year round weather and close proximity to the U.S. (only a 2 hour drive) across the border make the Ranch a viable option to the southwestern U.S. In fact, land, construction, and cost of living is only a fraction of that of the southwestern U.S. making El Dorado Ranch an ideal place to retire or vacation.
El Dorado Ranch and its developer have been the recipient of numerous awards for recognition of the development strategy. Backed by a U.S. developer with HUD filings, title insurance, and a proven track record, there is no comparable development anywhere on the Baja.
We currently have a few solar lots with sea and mountain views
available starting at $12,800. Additionally, a very small inventory of “ready to move in” beachfront condos are available. Golf course homes and lots, previously owned homes, beachfront home sites, and other real estate opportunities may be available or may soon be available.

opportunity to evaluate the project before sections are sold out.
